What is Auricular Therapy?
Auricular (ear) therapy stimulates specific points on the ear using tiny seeds or pellets. The ear is a micro-system that reflects the whole body, making this a gentle, needle-free option — especially good for children and anyone new to acupuncture.\n\nIt is generally painless, with only a mild sensation of pressure or warmth.

Answers to common questions about your care and what to expect.
What is auricular therapy?
It uses points on the outer ear, which map to the rest of the body in Chinese medicine, to support concerns such as stress, sleep, pain, and habit change.
Do I keep anything on my ear afterward?
Sometimes small seeds or pellets are taped in place so you can press them gently between visits. They are easy to remove, and we will show you exactly how and for how long to use them.
Does it replace body acupuncture?
Usually it complements it. Auricular points are often added to a session, or used on their own when they are the better fit for your situation.
Is it uncomfortable?
The ear is sensitive, so you may feel a brief sting. Most patients find it very manageable, and we adjust to your comfort.
