What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a natural form of health care, clinically proven especially for many kinds of pain. Fine, medical-grade, single-use needles are placed at specific points based on Traditional Chinese Medicine to activate your Qi (life energy) and blood, guiding your body to heal itself — with no chemical interference.\n\nFor most people it is virtually pain-free, and it is extremely safe and well-regulated. It is even suitable for children; for those wary of needles, gentle acupressure can be used instead.

Answers to common questions about your care and what to expect.
Does acupuncture hurt?
Most people find it far more comfortable than they expect. The needles are very thin — much finer than those used for injections — and many patients relax deeply or fall asleep during a session.
Are the needles sterile and single-use?
Yes. We use pre-sterilized, single-use disposable needles that are discarded after every treatment. Your practitioner is a licensed Acupuncture Physician.
What happens in a first session?
We begin with an unhurried conversation about your health history and goals, then a traditional assessment. Treatment follows in a calm, private room, and we explain what we are doing as we go.
How should I prepare?
Eat something light beforehand, wear loose comfortable clothing, and bring a list of your medications and supplements. Give yourself a few unrushed minutes afterward if you can.
